Here's a oval Hand Built Plate in our Turquoise-Brown color combination.  Unlike wheel-thrown work that takes its shape on the potter's wheel, hand built pieces like this start out as a rolled slab. Tama then trims, tucks and shapes the edges, giving each a soft, rounded look.  On the bottom are clay feet padded with felt, so it can set softly on fine furniture. It is also signed and dated with Tama's inscribed signature.  This would be a wonderful piece for either home decorating or put it to use as a functional serving platter.
