Hover Over for Zoom View.  Tama has created a new mug she calls a Tankard.  These are large, hardy mugs that will hold 24 ounces of your favorite beverage (hot or cold).  This one is particularly beautiful.  Red is the most elusive color in ceramics.  And this piece is an example of red at its exquisite best.  It has a thumb rest at the top of the handle and a little do-dad at bottom for your little finger.  Together they provide a nice grip and better balance.  It is wheel-thrown in stoneware clay and kiln-fired to 2400°.  On the bottom is Tama's inscribed signature and date.  Like everything at Prairie Fire Pottery it is handmade, lead-free, microwaveable, and food & dishwasher-safe.  It comes with my highest recommendation.  If you want a gorgeous piece of Prairie Fire Pottery, grab this one... quickly.
