Hover Over for Zoom View.  Tama has created a new mug she calls a Tankard.  These are large, hardy mugs that will hold 24 ounces of your favorite beverage (hot or cold).  Here's another one that is really something special.  Red is the most diffulcult color to produce in ceramics.  But in the hands of an experienced fire-potter like Tama, the result is spectacular.  This Tankard has a thumb rest at the top of the handle and a little do-dad at bottom for your little finger.  Together they provide a nice grip and better balance.  It is wheel-thrown in stoneware clay and kiln-fired to 2400°.   On the bottom is Tama's inscribed signature and date. Like everything at Prairie Fire Pottery it is handmade, lead-free, microwaveable, and food & dishwasher-safe.  It comes with my highest recommendation.  If you want a keepsake piece of Prairie Fire Pottery, grab this one... quickly.
