Hover over for Zoom View.  Here is another splendid piece from this new collection of large 24-ounce Tankards.  All of these Tankards were from the same kiln firing (the last of 2025).  As I've said before, red is a very diffilcult color to produce at high-temperature reduction (2400°).  So, to get reds like this is something very special. You'll also like that It has a thumb rest at the top of the handle and a little do-dad at bottom for your little finger.  Together they provide a nice grip and better balance.  It is wheel-thrown in stoneware clay.  On the bottom is Tama's inscribed signature and date.  Like everything at Prairie Fire Pottery it is handmade, lead-free, microwaveable, and food & dishwasher-safe.   If you want a gorgeous piece of Prairie Fire Pottery, grab this one... quickly.
